I was pleasantly surprised at how good the season premiere of Private Practice was on Wednesday. Last season I was not overly impressed with Private Practice, and I really wanted to be impressed. Addison was one of my favorite characters on Grey’s Anatomy and Kate Walsh is an amazing actress, so I was really rooting for the show. I have to admit though I was not all that into season one. It was ok but just didn’t really hold my attention as well as some other shows. But since I have a serious problem dropping shows I thought I would give it another chance this year. Boy am I glad I did. If the season opener is any indication of what the season is going be, I say you go Private Practice. There was just enough drama, spilling secrets, and school kid crushes to make things work. I do sincerely hope, and spoiler here, but I hope that Del is not gone for good. He is so cute, and I really like him. Anyway I am pleased to announce that I am getting hooked on Private Practice. I have a feeling there will be no second season slump for this show. I know that is quite a statement considering only one show has aired so far, but I am telling you it was good. Check out Private Practice Wednesdays at 9PM EST on ABC.
