HBO recently did another documentary of Taxicab Confessions titled Taxicab Confessions: New York, New York Part 3 premiered a couple of weeks ago. Now HBO is randomly airing it along with Part 1 & 2. If you have not seen any of this series you really need to check it out. Basically the show is what the title says there is a hidden lipstick camera is a New York City Taxicab and all sorts of things are revealed. There will be romances, lonely hearts who spill their guts, and much much more. Let me tell you I have seen all of the Taxicab Confessions and they are really good. You will be shocked at some of the confessions and situations that happen inside the Taxicab. Being that I live in New York I find it hard to believe that people do the things they do in a cab but hey to each their own. So check your local listings for Taxicab Confessions.

Brit Brit is finally going to set the record straight in a documentary set to air tomorrow at 10PM EST on MTV. Given the long standing relationship between Britney Spears and MTV I find it fitting that she chose to speak to MTV for her side of the story. According to sources she is going to give MTV and viewers an inside look at what it is like to walk in her shoes. I am glad that Britney is finally speaking out. There has been so much speculation and tabloid reports it will be nice to hear her side of the story. I only hope that this interview goes better than the one she did with Matt Lauer a couple of years ago. Since it is MTV I am pretty confident that it will be done with class. Word on the street is Britney gave them all access to her life, which is good for viewers. I am totally rooting for a Britney comeback and I think her doing this documentary is a great start. Everyone goes through rough times and being in the spotlight I am sure doesn’t make those times any easier. I think Britney has been judged unfairly and deserves to set the record straight. So if you want to know what Britney has to say then tune in to MTV tomorrow at 10PM EST.

So as I have been going through all my DVR’ed stuff I noticed that I watch a lot of stuff on ABC. Then I went back through some of my blogs on this site and yeah a lot of them again are about ABC. I really don’t watch that much stuff on NBC or CBS. Let me see for CBS I pretty much watch Survivor, The Amazing Race and As The World Turns. Now NBC I only watch Lipstick Jungle, which is getting canceled and Days of Our Lives. I know I watch way too much TV so I am kind of perplexed at how I can watch so little of CBS and NBC, but it is true. Apparently ABC is my network of choice. I do randomly watch some cable network stuff, Entourage, The Hills, Califronication, Mad Men, that kind of stuff. My revelation has got me wondering what your viewing habits are, is there a network you tend to watch more than another? I know it is kind of an odd question because we don’t think about it as watching a network but more as what shows we like to watch. I guess though there are certain networks that appeal to us individually. Anyway let me know.

Happy Thanksgiving my faithful TV Fanatic friends, I love Turkey Day. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade always kicks off the day for me. I actually have had the privilege of seeing the parade in person, which is good, but personally I would rather watch it from the comfort of my couch. The floats and balloons are awesome; actually the whole parade is just awesome. After the parade there is football, I know some of you out there may not be football fans, but it really is a Thanksgiving staple. The Lions and Cowboys always play. I am a football fan so I totally enjoy vegging out in front of the TV watching football. Now if you aren’t a football fan I suggest Lifetime, which always has some great movies on, especially for the Holidays, or Hallmark Channel or ABC Family. I am not 100% sure of what else is on because you know I am a football fan. Whatever you watch I hope that you have a fabulous Thanksgiving..

I know there are a lot of people out there who will disagree with the statement I am about the make, but I really like those Kardashians and the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I know they can be rude, obnoxious, ridiculous and more but there is something about them I like. I am writing about this because they seem to be everywhere now. Kim straight off her Dancing With The Stars gig is going to make a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother. Other than Kim the rest of them are randomly in the headlines but none of them for anything bad. Well other than Khloe’s whole DUI, but that is pretty common for celebs don’t you think? I don’t agree with it at all but I am just saying it could be worse. Sometimes I think Kris Jenner is a little much but then other times she lays the law down for those kids and I like that. Bruce Jenner is awesome and it is nice to see that he and Kris are still happily married in Hollywood after all their years together. Anyway I am anxiously awaiting the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, so I can catch up with Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and the rest of the gang.

Although the current season has not ended it is looking more like there will be a 5th season of The Hlls. MTV has not confirmed for sure but cast member Audrina spilled the beans last week. I find this very interesting since Lauren Conrad has been spouting off how she wants to move on with the show. I am willing to bet that her lack of a successful clothing line had something to do with her decision to do another season of The Hills. After all the only reason any of the cast members are in the spotlight is because of the show. What will be interesting to see if L.C. is still dating that guy from The Boys when season 5 begins how they will portray her, single or not. He can’t be on The Hills cause of his other show, but I guess they haven’t mentioned him on this season and it is obvious they are together and filming is going on. Which just makes the whole fact that The Hills is beyond fake even clearer. Fake or not I will still watch the next season of The Hills because well I am a sucker for crap TV. What do you think, should L.C and crew have called it quits, or are you excited The Hills will live on?

Days of Our Lives fans can celebrate NBC has inked a new deal to keep the show on the air until at least 2010 and possibly 2011. In the deal it appears that if Days does certain things then NBC will guarantee the show will be on the air until 2011. This is great news for Days fans. With the soap opera industry becoming more and more endangered, so to speak, this is fabulous news. A little side note here I actually took an internship with NBC in Burbank because I wanted to be near Days of Our Lives. And although I am currently going through a “this show kind of stinks phase” I am thrilled that it has been renewed. There are glimpses of the Days that I grew up with and I am hopeful that it will return to the good old Days, no pun intended, before the new contract with NBC expires. If you aren’t a soap opera fan you probably don’t know but there has been a lot of speculation that NBC would drop the show that has been on their network for over 40 years. It all goes back to soap operas are expensive, advertising is down, viewers are down, all that stuff comes into play. Again you all know I am a fan of soap operas, so I get super excited when I see that networks are still have faith in an industry I so love and want to be apart of. Ok enough of that stuff. Days has been renewed, YES!!!!!!!

ABC is apparently music happy this time of year. A couple of weeks ago it was the CMA Awards tonight it is the American Music Awards at 8PM EST. The show is hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and brings together all genres of music. I personally love awards shows especially ones like this that bring so many different groups together. There are categories such as Favorite Album, Breakthrough Artist, Favorite Male & Female Artist, etc etc. There will be performances by Mariah Carey, Coldplay, The Fray, Jonas Brothers, New Kids on The Block, Pink, Taylor Swift, Rhianna and many many more. You will not want to miss a minute of this great awards show, it is going to be awesome. For a full list of nominees and performers log onto <a href=”http://www.abc.com/”>www.abc.com, then tune in tonight to see if your fave wins.

For years I have loved the Real World/Road Rules Challenges, so much that I would rather watch them instead of the actual Real World or Road Rules shows. However I finally just finished watching all the episodes of the current season The Island and yeah it sucked big time. The cast was not too great at all. In fact some people that I had previously liked, Johnny Bananas for example, have turned into total douche bags. Someone needs to remind these people that they are on a reality TV show, not an A list movie star. I don’t understand how these people can watch their actions on the show and not be completely embarrassed. Anyway beyond the fact that he cast was awful the show didn’t have that many challenges. I guess the real challenge was to survive the elements on The Island. Basically I saw it as a Survivor rip off with a bunch of people who really couldn’t hack it. Personally I hope the powers that be will revert back to the good old days of The Challenges. You know like Battle of The Sexes, The Inferno, The Gauntlet, etc etc. Well I have said my peace, I am not happy with The Island Challenge at all, so who agrees or disagrees with me?

I am so tired of seeing promos for ABC’s ridiculous reality shows Supernanny and Wife Swap. Oh My God talk about awful shows. I can barely stand to watch the promos much less imagine spending my time watching these shows. Apparently though ABC doesn’t agree with me, which means there must be people out there who watch Supernanny and Wife Swap. If you are one of the people who watch either Supernanny or Wife Swap or both, can you please let me know why? I am serious I won’t judge I just want to know why. Part of me can see why ABC keeps these shows around they have to be super cheap to produce, most reality shows are much cheaper to produce than say a comedy or drama. I really am just baffled by the fact these two shows are on a respectable network. Hello they aren’t on VH1, which is like the capital of bad reality TV. Let me make it clear I watch reality TV, some even crap like The Hills. However, Wife Swap and Supernanny just take reality TV to a whole new level, just my opinion.
