Courtney Cox back to TV
I just read that Courtney Cox is giving TV another try post Friends. As you know Courtney did a show for FX called Dirt. While I liked the show, it did not survive after the writers strike. I can kind of see why it was a little racy. But the show did not suck which is good and proves Courtney can escape from Monica. So Courtney is teaming up with Scrub creator Bill Lawrence for the show called Cougar Town. Apparently the show is for ABC who has ordered up the pilot that will be a 30-minute comedy. The premise of the show will be a recently divorced 40-year-old woman who is essentially on the prowl for younger men. Also on bored is Scrubs writer Kevin Biegel. I am excited to see Courtney back in a comedy. I hope that ABC picks up the pilot. Seriously if Bill Lawrence is involved it has to be funny. Scrubs is, well was one of the best comedies on TV. Here’s hoping Courtney has a successful comeback to comedy.
