The Real Housewives Franchise
The Real Housewives of Orange County returned to Bravo last night kicking off the 4th season of the show that gave us such spinoffs as New York and Atlanta. I have to say I do not get the fascination with The Real Housewives franchises. I tried to watch both Orange County and New York but I could not stomach them. I found each of the casts beyond disgusting. I guess if you have money or power it gives you the right to act like a complete jerk There is not a single person in any of the casts that I think is likable. And yes I gave each of the shows more than one chance. Well except for Atlanta because after the debacle that was New York I was like never again. I know I am in the minority here, I have friends who swear by these shows but UGH I would rather go to the dentist. I am honestly amazed at how far Bravo has gone with The Real Housewives. I get Orange County and New York but Atlanta come on really. Plus I read that a Real Housewives of New Jersey is in the works, now that is taking it way too far. Obviously that is just my opinion. For you Orange County fans out there you can see new episodes on Bravo every Tuesday at 10PM EST.
