When 90210 first debuted in September I was super excited and I actually thought it was really good. I believe my exact words were it didn’t suck. Well fast forward a couple of months and now I have a dilemma. Turns out 90210 is not so good, especially when Kelly and Brenda are not on it. I actually heard that Brenda is returning to help the show out of a ratings slump. I have to say the only reason I tuned in was to see Kelly and Brenda and I never really got hooked don the new cast. I do like that Mr. Matthews character, but I don’t know if I like him enough to keep watching. Which brings me to my what to do situation. I know both Kelly and Brenda are coming back but I do not know if I can keep watching the show. I am thinking it might need to be dropped. It came out with a bang but along the way it lost its thunder. What can I say the new cast just doesn’t hold a candle to the original cast. Wow I guess I just figured out my what to do. It looks like 90210 is getting dropped.

Everyone’s favorite zip code, 90210 of course, is back and it doesn’t suck. Last Tuesday night’s premiere was awesome. There was just the right amount of old 90210 blended with a new edgier, risqué version. I admit I was all prepared for the new 90210 to suck bad. I was very anti remaking the show I loved. I honestly only turned in to see Kelly and Brenda, but boy did I get more than I expected. Silver is little Erin Silver, nice way to connect the old and new together. Plus did you catch a glimpse of Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez in the beginning, way to pay homage. Anyway I quickly grew fond of the new characters, not all of them but most of them. I like that the premise is the same yet different, it makes the show its own and not a complete rip off of its predecessor. All that aside what an action packed filled episode, even the parents were interesting, of course with hottie Rob Estes playing the dad how could they not be. I proudly admit I am now hooked on 90210 again, and only the pilot has aired. Side note here almost 5 million viewers turned in to see what was happening in Beverly Hills, those are awesome numbers for The CW. I guess that means there is only on thing left to say, 90210 it’s good to have you back.
