What’s Up With Grey’s?

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

I want someone to tell me what the heck is going on with Grey’s Anatomy? It is in such shambles as I like to say, almost like the writers have no clue what direction to take the show in. The whole Denny thing is absurd and the Callie is she or isn’t a lesbian is ridiculous. And I don’t even care if they make her a lesbian, just figure it out. I thought perhaps they were going to get her with
Meredith’s intern friend but I just read that Melissa George, who plays Sadie the intern, has quit the role. So go figure. And can we please give Sloan a storyline besides being a male slut. Eric Dane is a great actor and his talent is wasted. I am voting for a Sloan/Callie pairing. Now back to the Denny thing, seriously unless Izzy has a brain tumor and is dying there is no good reason for this storyline. If the writers play this as she is crazy I will drop this show, I swear.
Enough said on that subject, lets talk about Alex. Can the writers please turn him back into being the jerk we all know and love, not this sap he has been turned into. Fans love Alex because he is a jerk who occasionally shows us glimpses of a good guy. Please give us back the real Alex. George, Little Grey and the other interns have no purpose on show.
As for Derek and Meredith, do they even like each other anymore because they sure seem to be annoyed with each other all the time. Anyway this is one Grey’s fan who is quickly becoming and ex-Grey’s fan. I sincerely hope that something changes with this show soon or it is going to be dropped. I don’t have time to watch crap, unless it is good crap but this is just bad bad bad!

Patrick Swayze Talks To Barbara Walters

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

In an exclusive interview last night Patrick Swayze talked to Barbara Walters about his battle with Pancreatic Cancer . Patrick opened up about his fight battling a disease that could cost him his life. With his wife Lisa by his side they gave Barbara and viewers a first hand look at what life has been like since Patrick’s diagnosis. Patrick also showed off his amazingly beautiful California ranch. And of course it wouldn’t be an interview if Patrick didn’t plug his new show The Beast, which begins January 15th on A&E. I for one was amazed by this interview and I haven’t even watched all of it yet. I have been a huge fan of Patrick’s since he played Darry in my all time favorite movie The Outsiders. I was so upset when I heard about his diagnosis especially when so many crap tabloids basically had him on his deathbed. I am thrilled he is doing so well. If you misssed the interview you can log onto ABC.com and watch it in full.

Walt Disney World Christmas Parade

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

Well it is Christmas Eve and that means tomorrow is the Walt Disney Christmas Day Parade. The fun begins at 10AM on ABC. As I said before I am a huge fan of certain parades and this is definitely one of them. Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin are again hosting the extravaganza. There will be great acts such ad Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers and David Cook will sing some Christmas hits to get everyone in the mood. The parade comes to you from obviously Disney World which means we can be sure to expect some of our favorite characters such as Mickey and Minnie, etc. This parade is a tradition in my household, even if it is just background noise it is always on. Alright that being said enjoy the parade and have a fabulous Christmas Eve and Day.

The Bachelor’s Jason Is Engaged

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

Although the new season of The Bachelor featuring Jason Mesnick doesn’t begin until January, Jason has spilled the beans that he is engaged. Now given the fact that the show has not even began airing yet, why in the world would ABC let him release that kind of information. Seirously now I think well I know he is engaged so basically all I need to do it watch the finale to find out who the lucky lady is. Talk about a major spoiler, someone should tell Jason that information like that is reserved for the finale, hello ratings. I was all psyched to watch the new season because I like the rest of America fell in love in Jason last spring when he was on The Bachelorette. However now it has lost some of its excitement. Granted I am thrilled that Jason has found love again he so deserves it, especially after DeAnna ditched him that way. But I really do feel like I can skip most of the season and just watch like the final 2 or 3 episodes because I know he is going to get engaged. Clearly I would have preferred if this information hadn’t have come out it would have given me more reason to watch the whole season. I guess my Monday nights just opened up a little more. The Bachelor premieres Monday Jan 5th on ABC.

Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

I love Barbara Walters’s specials and this one will be no exception I am sure. Tonight at 10PM EST on ABC Barbara will reveal the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008. Some of the recipients include Miley Cyrus, Tom Cruise, Michael Phelps, and Tina Fey. Now I get all of the above guests except Tom Cruise. I mean seriously what did he do this year to deserve to be on this list. Just because you are a paparazzi whore doesn’t mean you deserve to be on this list. Just my opinion, anyway back to tonight’s special. Barbara Walters is an amazing interviewer and she does so great with her specials. I have no doubt this one will not disappoint. I am curious as to see who else made her list. Clearly Barack Obama should be on there, but who else do you think should make Barbara’s list of the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008? Let me know and don’t forget to tune in tonight to see if your picks made the cut.

American Music Awards

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

ABC is apparently music happy this time of year. A couple of weeks ago it was the CMA Awards tonight it is the American Music Awards at 8PM EST. The show is hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and brings together all genres of music. I personally love awards shows especially ones like this that bring so many different groups together. There are categories such as Favorite Album, Breakthrough Artist, Favorite Male & Female Artist, etc etc. There will be performances by Mariah Carey, Coldplay, The Fray, Jonas Brothers, New Kids on The Block, Pink, Taylor Swift, Rhianna and many many more. You will not want to miss a minute of this great awards show, it is going to be awesome. For a full list of nominees and performers log onto <a href=”http://www.abc.com/”>www.abc.com, then tune in tonight to see if your fave wins.

ABC’s Ridiculous Reality Shows

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

I am so tired of seeing promos for ABC’s ridiculous reality shows Supernanny and Wife Swap. Oh My God talk about awful shows. I can barely stand to watch the promos much less imagine spending my time watching these shows. Apparently though ABC doesn’t agree with me, which means there must be people out there who watch Supernanny and Wife Swap. If you are one of the people who watch either Supernanny or Wife Swap or both, can you please let me know why? I am serious I won’t judge I just want to know why. Part of me can see why ABC keeps these shows around they have to be super cheap to produce, most reality shows are much cheaper to produce than say a comedy or drama. I really am just baffled by the fact these two shows are on a respectable network. Hello they aren’t on VH1, which is like the capital of bad reality TV. Let me make it clear I watch reality TV, some even crap like The Hills. However, Wife Swap and Supernanny just take reality TV to a whole new level, just my opinion.

Brothers & Sisters I Love It!

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

I have always thought Brothers & Sisters was a phenomenal show since its debut two years ago and yet after each episode I am amazed at how good it is. Honestly every episode is better than the last one. I seriously want to be a Walker, yes they are full of drama but they have big dinners and drink a lot of wine. Who wouldn’t want to be apart of that family? Brothers & Sisters is a feel good show, no matter what happens on the show I always feel good after I watch it. Plus the cast is awesome. Sally Field is fantastic as the matriarch Nora. I could list the rest of the cast and how great they are but I am thinking you get the picture. Oh and there are so cute men on that show, including Rob Lowe, who is like a fine wine he gets better looking with age. I love that so much of the show centers on the secrets of the dead patriarch of the family William Walker coming out. It is awesome. The premise of the show is really just family and I like that. I come from a small family so having a large family has appealed to me. Even though they can be dysfunctional the Walkers are a loving family who always has each others back. I suggest if you want a feel good show that will take away those Sunday night blues then you have to watch Brothers & Sisters at 10PM EST on ABC. I love it!!!!!

The Pregnant Man Speaks With Barbara

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

Thomas Beatie, otherwise known as the pregnant man, and his wife Nancy speak with Barbara Walters in the special, What is a man? What is a woman? Journey of the Pregnant Man tonight at 10PM EST on ABC. Now unless you live in a bubble you know that Thomas Beatie used to be a woman, now he is a married man whose wife cannot have kids. So the couple decided to have Thomas get pregnant. Ok so the latest news is that Thomas is pregnant with the couple’s second child. The couple has not done really any interviews since their daughter was born last June, so this interview tonight with Barbara is a big deal. I personally think the couple made a fabulous choice in choosing to be interviewed by Barbara Walters. I can assume that she will be dignified and classy. Although I am not obsessed with this couple as a lot of America is, I will probably watch the interview tonight. It will be more than interesting to hear their side of the story, not just read about it. I have no opinion about this couple I say to each his own. Do I find it a weird, heck yeah but who doesn’t. Anyway if you have nothing to do tonight then tune in to see Barbra talk to Thomas and Nancy Beatie.

The CMA Awards

Published by rachelle under ABC Edit This

It is Country Music’s night to shine tonight on ABC with the CMA Awards at 8PM EST. I am going to admit that I am kind of a closet country music fan. I like it but I won’t necessary let people know I like it or that I have it on my Ipod. I will admit I am a huge fan of Kenney Chesney, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and of course Reba McEntire. Sometimes I really just a get in the mood for a little country music, I can’t help it I do. Well for all your country music fans out there you will not want to miss tonight’s awards show. It is the best of country music all in one room to celebrate the best performers, songwriters, record producers and music videos directors. I really do love this awards show because I think the stars of country music sometimes get the shaft in the music business and I like that this genre gets the recognition it deserves. So if you are a country music fan, and lets face it we all are a little bit, tune in tonight for the CMA Awards, Country Biggest Night.
