Awards season officially begins tonight with the People’s Choice Awards at 9PM EST. I love awards season and last year was a crap season because of the writers strike. Remember the debacle that was the People’s Choice Awards last year, OMG it was awful. And I mean no disrespect to Queen Latifah by saying that. I understand that everyone involved wanted to do something and that there wasn’t much to work with, I get that, I am just saying thank god the real awards are back tonight. I like the People’s Choice Awards because it is voted for by us fans and quite frankly I think it should be the most important awards show of the season. It isn’t clearly since it is scheduled on the Wednesday before The Golden Globe Awards. However everyone knows that with out the fans there would be no successful TV shows, or movies, or actors. Ok so it is pretty clear I will be tuning in tonight, will you?

On As The World Turns Jack Snyder got married again and to yet another woman he does not belong with Janet. Anyway who watches As The World Turns knows that Jack and Carly belong together, but that is not really the point of this blog. I used to love the character of Jack but now he is just he marrying guy to me. It was this time a year ago that he was married to Katie so I find it really hard to believe that Jack and Janet will last. In fact I cannot even watch the two of them together. Look if ATWT doesn’t want to get Jack and Carly back together then can they at least give Carly a love interest instead of Jack always being the one to move one. I mean seriously, I give the Jack and Janet reunion like 3 months tops and Carly will come between them just like she did with Jack and Katie. Anyway I hope TPTB at As The World Turns listen and give us back the real Jack Snyder and not this marrying man. Enough already. I will be fast-forwarding through them until it is over.

Who is loving this season of The Amazing Race besides me? It is so good. I have always thought that the Amazing Race was one of the best reality shows on television. They casting is always great and this season is no exception. My favorite team is Dallas and his mom. I love that he is doing this show with his mom. I also like the frat boy friends, they are so entertaining, I do not like Terrance and Sarah. She needs to dump his mean ass. I think he is a nut job. Anyway beside the casting the places the shows takes you to is fabulous. Even though I am not actually visiting the countries myself I feel like I get a sense of what is like to be there. Plus my favorite things always about The Amazing Race is the detours and roadblocks. They are always so good. In all honesty I have always thought I would be a good contestant for The Amazing Race. I have even picked my friend Kari to do it with me. Not that we will actually do it, but you never know we might. Either way, The Amazing Race is a fantastic show and if you are not watching it you should be. It airs every Sunday at 8PM EST.

I have to write about how much As The World Turns blows. I was so excited in the summer when Dusty came back and it got good for a couple of weeks. Now it is boring beyond belief. I am sitting here tying to watch it and all I can think about is how much time I am wasting with this show on. Jack and Janet engaged, wasn’t it just a year ago that he was married to Katie, yes I think it was. Everyone knows Jack and Carly should be together. Then there is Brad and Katie and that stupid Spencer girl, again dumb and I don’t care. The Dusty/Paul storyline is ok but it is getting a little played out. Meg left Paul again, come on Meg get a clue. The Luke election storyline is as dull as he and Noah are. And to make that storyline worse it appears they are going to get Casey and Alison together. Not a good idea. He just got out of a relationship with her sister and she was messing around with his uncle. I am usually a big fan of ATWT but I have to say if things don’t get better it is going to be deleted a lot. UGH! If there are any ATWT fans out there let me know what you think.

I will rarely recommend shows to you that I have not watched myself, much less a show that has not even aired yet. However I just have to tell you to watch The Ex List tonight at 9PM EST on CBS. Judging from the promos and what I have read, this show looks so cute and fun. The adorable Elizabeth Reaser, you might know her as Ava, or as I like to call her the girl that stole Alex’s heart on Grey’s Anatomy, stars as single gal Bella. A psychic gives Bella an urgent tip that she will need to marry with in the next year or she will be alone forever. The good news is she already knows her soul mate. It’s one of her ex’s. The show then follows Bella as she tries to figure out who is her soul mate before time runs out.  From the looks of it this show is going to be adorable, cute, goofy and fun. I really think this show has a lot of potential and I think everyone should check it out. I will definitely let you know my opinion after I watch it.

It is that time of year again, time for Fall TV Season, thank god I say. I am ready to find out what is happening on my favorite shows. Since I know I don’t want to miss a minute of my favorite shows, and I am sure you don’t either, I decided to give you the CBS, ABC and NBC premiere schedule.
